Prime Talent, Agilium Worldwide’s member firm in Brazil, holds a highly memorable event in world famous football stadium

A unique event promoted by Prime Talent Brasil (www.primetalentbrasil.com.br/en/) and Estádio Mineirão was held recently. Participants were able to make memorable experiences based on discussion of Agenda 2030 and the role of leaders in the next eight years. It was an afternoon comprising extraordinary encounters and networking opportunities, local gastronomic specialities, cultural experiences and expert input, all happening directly on the football field in Belo Horizonte.

Organized by Prime Talent partners David Braga, CEO, Headhunter and Board Advisor, and Bárbara Nogueira, Director, Headhunter and Career Advisor, the event was attended by CEOs, CHROs, CFOs and board members from Minas Gerais and São Paulo. The speakers included Daniela Garcia, President of Conscious Capitalism, Jason Ward, Vice-President of People and Clients at Azul Linhas Aéreas, and Maria Eugênia Buosi, ESG Financial Risk Management Partner at KPMG.

David Braga: “By promoting this meeting with important leaders we can address the topic of the Agenda 2030 with optimal results. Furthermore, we can help to ensure the continuity of organizations, with compliance, integrating all stakeholders with the aim of creating a more favorable environment for the coming times. It is urgent that we deal with these issues, and it is up to today’s leadership – from board of directors to senior management level – to implement relevant and assertive actions so that the agreed goals can be met.”

The Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development was created in 2015 in New York by the 193 member states of the United Nations. It forms the global framework for environmental and development policy over the next (currently) eight years. At the heart of the agenda are 17 sustainable development goals, the so-called SDGs, and their 169 targets. They touch on all policy areas, from economic, social, environmental and financial policy to agricultural and consumer policy and areas such as transport, urban development, education and health.
