BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT / M&A MANAGER

Our client is a European market leader in the paper industry who is known for high quality, ecological orientation, customer as well as employee focus and production efficiency. We are looking for a dynamic, analytical, conceptual and solution-driven manager who will standardize operational processes to develop an organizational basis for automation and digitalization. Besides he will lead and/or actively participate in M&A and strategy projects. Place of work can either be Vienna, the local units or your home.

In this newly-created position directly reporting to the COO you lead business development and business model improvement projects, investment projects in paper mills and power plants as well as organizational improvements. You elaborate „best practices“ and tools, consolidate, coordinate and integrate operational and IT Systems. You are responsible for monitoring lean manufacturing and the continuous improvement process. Organizing and providing professional support to top management and informing them about important business-related topics round off your profile. 

You have an engineering degree, 3+years of professional experience in an internationally operating manufacturing company or as a strategy/IT consultant, ideally with a focus on the paper industry as well as project management experience and business acumen. Excellent IT and English skills are required, German is a plus. You are process-oriented, convincing and persistent, have proven optimization, change management, communication, business improvement and multi-tasking skills. You are open-minded, motivated and willing to obtain further qualifications.   

The salary range, including a company car, as well as the possibilities for advancement are attractive.
